UL3386 is a UL-certified single-conductor wire insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). Rated for 105°C and 600V, this wire is designed for internal wiring in electronic and electrical equipment where heat resistance, voltage stability, and flame performance are critical.

  • Conductor: Solid or stranded bare or tinned copper, available in sizes from 32 AWG to 4/0 AWG

  • Insulation: Extruded XLPE with thickness varying by AWG size:

    • 32–9 AWG: 30 mils average, 27 mils minimum

    • 8–7 AWG: 45 mils average, 40 mils minimum

    • 6–2 AWG: 60 mils average, 54 mils minimum

    • 1–4/0 AWG: 80 mils average, 72 mils minimum

  • Temperature Rating: Up to 105°C

  • Voltage Rating: 600V 

  • Flame Resistance: Passes UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 flame tests

  • Standards: Complies with UL 758 Appliance Wiring Material (AWM) Style 3386
